As a Coordinator, Current Candidature, you will:
- Plan and prioritise graduate research candidature management work and critical activities appropriately and recognise barriers to achieving outcomes, find effective ways to deal with them and evaluate progress.
- Apply knowledge of University and graduate research governance, policies, and procedures in providing advice to graduate research candidates and stakeholders, and in the implementation of candidature operations.
- Provide secretariat and administrative support to the HDR Academic Progress Committee.
- Collaborate closely with current graduate research candidates, faculties, school, and institutes to successfully fulfill the requirements of the role.
- Identify and lead change within own area of responsibility and understand and communicate the reasons for the change.
To be successful, you’ll have:
- Completion of a Degree with subsequent relevant work experience; or
- An equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education/training
- Extensive experience and specialist knowledge or broad knowledge in a university environment, higher degree by research or student services environment
- Experience with university governance and policy
- Experience in dealing with confidential materials and sensitive matters
