  • AC, Level A $80,065 - $107,633 + 17% Superannuation (pro rata, part time)

As a Graduate Researcher Teaching Fellow you will:

  • Deliver and provide innovative & effective teaching practices to enhance student success and engagement, while maintaining a focus on continuous improvement.
  • Contribute to the development of high-quality learning materials, activities, and assessments, working collaboratively with the Unit Chair and teaching team to support curriculum innovation.
  • Integrate industry, clinical, and research practices into student learning experiences, ensuring relevance and practical application of knowledge.
  • Provide constructive feedback on student performance using clear assessment criteria, and actively contribute to moderation processes to ensure consistency and quality.
  • Engage in professional development opportunities, maintain a commitment to educational excellence, and contribute to the School’s teaching, scholarship, and pedagogical research activities.

 To be successful, you’ll have:

  • Enrolled in a PhD in a relevant and related discipline at Deakin University
  • Demonstrated satisfactory progress towards timely completion of PhD
  • Demonstrated passion for teaching and learning
  • Excellent organisational skills, effective time management skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and meet deadlines successfully
  • Ability to deliver effective teaching practices to improve student success and engagement
  • Capacity to contribute to teaching, and related administration including the ability to interpret and understand policies and procedures relevant to teaching and student support and welfare
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and a proven ability to establish good working relationships with colleagues
  • Emerging record of scholarly learning and teaching in postgraduate or undergraduate programs
