About the role

We’re seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Senior Officer, Health & Safety Programs to play a key role in enhancing and facilitating health and safety training and engagement programs across the University. In this role, you'll collaborate with subject matter experts to develop engaging content, support the coordination of training and engagement activities and ensure alignment with relevant legislation and standards. • Analyse learning objectives and stakeholder needs to determine the most effective and accessible delivery methods.
  • Design and format training and engagement materials using standard software tools, ensuring they are impactful, user-friendly and meet accessibility and compliance standards.
  • Coordinate logistical and administrative aspects of training and program delivery, including managing registrations, booking venues and catering and creating visually appealing and customer focused communications.
  • Support the implementation and continuous improvement of the University’s Health and Safety Training Framework by identifying competency gaps and recommending solutions.
