As a Centre Support Coordinator, you will:
- Coordinate and support the operations of Faculty Research Centres and Units by working collaboratively with centre leaders to deliver high-level administrative and operational support that enables the achievement of strategic priorities and goals.
- Implement centre communication strategies by supporting internal and external communications, including developing and distributing content aligned with each Centre’s objectives and Deakin’s broader research narrative.
- Track progress towards strategic goals by monitoring project milestones and activities to ensure alignment with Faculty and University research priorities.
- Enhance the visibility of research activities by promoting outcomes and initiatives through communications, events, digital platforms, and other strategic engagement channels.
- Facilitate cross-functional collaboration by liaising with teams across Faculty Services, Faculties, and University departments to ensure coordinated delivery of administrative, logistical, and operational support.
- Coordinate centre-led events and engagement activities, including workshops, seminars, and networking functions, by planning and delivering events in collaboration with Faculty and University support teams to ensure professional execution.
To be successful, you’ll have:
- A Degree with subsequent relevant experience; or
- Extensive experience and specialist knowledge or broad knowledge in technical or administrative fields
- Extensive experience and management expertise in relevant administrative fields; or
- An equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education/training
- Experience in project management and/or administration in large complex organisations.
- Experience managing stakeholders to achieve project outcomes.
