As an Associate Research Fellow, you will:

  • Pursue impactful research and creative work with mentorship, aiming for excellence and innovation.
  • Collaborate across teams and industries, building partnerships and delivering timely, high-quality outcomes.
  • Communicate and share research outputs, contributing meaningfully to academic and community discourse.
  • Grow your reputation and research portfolio, guided by mentors and aligned with a strategic career plan.
  • Engage in university and community citizenship, supporting Deakin’s mission and broader societal impact.

                                                                                                                                                                                      

To be successful, you’ll have:

  • Proven background in the field of Water Electrolysis
  • PhD in electrochemistry with a focus on generating electrolysers and fuel cells, or relevant discipline, and/or other relevant qualifications and experience
  • Emerging research and scholarship through publications, and/or exhibitions as appropriate to the discipline
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and a proven ability to establish good working relationships with colleagues
