The role:

Working closely with the School Executive, you will bring key initiatives to life, optimise resources, and champion excellence across teaching, research, and engagement. You will oversee the school’s operations and administration to ensure the delivery of exceptional service and academic support, while fostering a culture of collaboration, inclusion, and accountability. Through your leadership, you will help create a safe and supportive environment for all, playing a pivotal role in shaping innovative and sustainable solutions that drive the school’s ongoing success.

As the Senior Strategic Adviser, you will:

  • Lead with integrity, emotional intelligence, and inclusivity to strengthen teams, boost performance, and celebrate excellence.
  • Oversee academic workloads, resources, and innovation to support sustainable and effective school operations.
  • Manage recruitment, onboarding, and development of academic and professional staff to build capability and engagement.
  • Coordinate all administrative, financial, and operational functions to ensure efficiency and exceptional service delivery.
  • Drive continuous improvement through analysis, reporting, and collaboration with the School Executive and Faculty Managers.
  • Champion a positive, compliant, and forward-thinking culture that fosters innovation, wellbeing, and collective success.

To be successful, you’ll have:

  • Postgraduate qualifications and extensive relevant experience; or
  • Extensive experience and management expertise; or
  • An equivalent combination of extensive relevant experience and/or education/training
  • Experience in administration and related activities in a large organisation with complex administrative structures, policies and procedures
