As the Allied Health and Programs Operations Manager, you will play a pivotal role in guiding a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality, evidence-based, and person-centred care across our Residential Care services. This position offers a unique opportunity to influence clinical innovation, and a commitment to excellence in service delivery.
Key Responsibilities
Leadership and Team Development
- Provide strategic and operational leadership to site-based Occupational Therapists, Physiotherapists, Lifestyle Coordinators, and Therapy staff
- Foster a culture of clinical excellence, continuous improvement, and professional development
- Deliver structured induction, supervision, and mentoring programs to support staff retention and performance
Program Oversight and Innovation
- Oversee the design and implementation of consistent, therapeutic lifestyle programs that reflect cultural diversity and individual resident needs
- Integrate contemporary approaches and technology to enhance resident engagement and wellbeing
- Ensure alignment of lifestyle initiatives with the Higher Everyday Living Fee programs and broader organisational objectives
External Partnerships and Service Integration
- Establish and manage relationships with external health providers including General Practitioners, Pharmacists, Dietitians, Podiatrists, and Speech Pathologists
- Ensure seamless integration of external services into clinical workflows and digital platforms such as eCase and Best Med/Best Doctor
- Lead collaborative initiatives between internal and external health professionals to optimise resident outcomes
Quality and Continuous Improvement
- Contribute to organisational working groups and project teams focused on falls prevention, technology integration, and care environment design
- Lead quality improvement initiatives and support policy development and change management processes
- Collaborate with Health Care & Quality teams on audits, compliance, and assurance activities
Operational Management and Reporting
- Ensure accurate and timely reporting, documentation, and program claiming in accordance with organisational policies
- Oversee recruitment, onboarding, supervision, and performance management of Allied Health and Lifestyle staff
What You Bring
- A relevant tertiary qualification or equivalent experience (minimum 10 years) in health services
- Proven leadership in allied health or aged care environments
- A passion for person-centred care and service innovation
- Strong operational, strategic, and interpersonal skills
Essential Requirements
- National Police Clearance (within 6 months)
- NDIS Worker Screening Check
- Proof of current influenza and COVID-19 vaccinations
- Willingness to obtain bankruptcy and key personnel check
- Successful completion of Reference checks and Key Personnel Check
