The Role

Reporting to the Chief People Officer, the Head of the Amana Living Training Institute (ALTI) leads the RTO business to achieve its primary objective; the delivery of quality care related training to Amana Living employees, individuals and clients across the human services sector.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead our established high performing team, ensuring Amana Living’s culture is embedded and showcased through ALTI’s operational activities.
  • Drive a bias for quality, ensuring all training products and curriculum is relevant and effective, delivering impactful outcomes for a wide range of students and participants.
  • Engage and build strong relationships with a broad range of internal and external stakeholders, including Amana Living leaders, other businesses, industry associations and government agencies.
  • Develop and maintain professional knowledge of RTO standards to ensure compliance with Training Accreditation Council and Department of Training and Workforce Development rules and requirements.
  • Identify and respond to opportunities to actualise strategy and deliver on key performance indicators.

About you

You will have proven experience in leading a complex and highly regulated business, with demonstrated performance across quality, compliance and commercial indicators. Experience leading an RTO is not necessary, but knowledge of the VET sector will be highly regarded and proven success in a similarly complex environment is essential.

You are strong and influential leader who thrives on collaboration and has proven stakeholder engagement skills.

You will be comfortable working across strategic and operational priorities, ensuring your team are working towards shared short and long-term objectives.

You will thrive on delivering quality outcomes through continuous improvement.

Essential Criteria:

  • Relevant Tertiary Qualifications
  • Experience in leading a large and complex business unit with accountability for a range of performance outcomes.
  • Highly developed people leadership skills with a proven record of collaboration.
  • Proven stakeholder engagement skills and a bias for excellent customer service.
  • Strong commercial acumen coupled with strategic thinking ability.
  • National Police Clearance Certificate (no older than 6 months) 
  • Proof of current influenza and Covid-19 vaccinations as per Amana Living policies
  • Western Australian C Class Drivers Licence
  • Completion of pre-employment health and reference checks
