The Role
The primary purpose of this role is to assist the Accounts Receivable and Financial Accounting team, while also engaging with management, staff, residents, their families, and others within the work environment. This role is being offered on a Full Time basis, Monday to Friday from our Subiaco Head Office.
Key responsibilities:
Debt Collection
- Assist the Accounts Receivable team to review overdue accounts and follow up with debtors for debt collection
Financial Accounting
- Daily and monthly bank reconciliations, with all exceptions investigated and cleared
- Manage the disbursement of allowances to residents
- Management of Fixed asset – Fixed Asset clearing account in line with AASB
- Assists with the month end financial with accruals/prepayments
Other
- Provide backup for the other team members as and when required
- Provide Leave cover for the Accounts Receivable team
- Other duties as prescribed by the Manager of Financial Accounting or Financial Controller
About you
You are a detail-oriented finance professional with at least three years’ experience in accounts receivable and financial accounting, demonstrating strong technical skills and a commitment to timely, accurate reporting. With advanced computer proficiency and excellent organisational abilities, you thrive in dynamic environments and are dedicated to ongoing professional development.
Essential Criteria:
- Evidence of COVID-19 and Current Flu vaccinations per Amana Living policies
- Ability to obtain a National Police Clearance (within 6-months validity)
- Successful completion of pre-employment form and reference checks
- Tertiary qualification in accounting
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience within a similar role (Desirable)
- Western Australian C Class Driver’s License (if applicable)
