St Aloysius Catholic College is a co-educational Catholic College on three campuses in the Kingborough Municipality. The Junior Campus located in Kingston Beach (Kinder – Year 4), the Middle Campus located in Huntingfield (Year 5 – Year 9) and the Senior Campus also located in Huntingfield (Year 9 – Year 12).

St Aloysius Catholic College is seeking a dedicated Library Technician to support students and staff in accessing quality library and information services that enhance learning outcomes.

Library Technician
Ongoing position
4 days per week (Tues - Fri)
41 weeks per year (Term time + 1 additional week)
8.15am – 3.30pm commencing: Tuesday 5 August 2025

We welcome applications from suitably experienced candidates who:

  • Have a genuine commitment to Catholic education and school life
  • Hold Certificate III or IV in Library and Information Services (or equivalent)
  • Possess current Working with Vulnerable People registration and a National Police Criminal History Check
  • Have experience supporting library and digital information services

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide welcoming and effective library support for students and staff
  • Assist in cataloging, maintaining, and circulating library resources
  •  Support students with accessing digital and physical learning materials
  • Promote an engaging and organised learning space
