Executive Assistant to the Chief Financial Officer

 Full Time - Ongoing

Catholic Education Tasmania is seeking a dynamic, passionate, and results-driven professional to take on the role of Executive Assistant to the Chief Financial Officer and play a pivotal role in supporting the Chief Financial Officer.

As the Executive Assistant to the Chief Financial Officer, you will:

  • Efficiently manage the Chief Financial Officer’s schedule including appointments, meetings and travel arrangements.
  • Assist Chief Financial Officer to determine priorities and offer strategic advice around the coordination and delegation of tasks.
  • Initiate and produce a range of complex, high quality documentation including confidential reports, submissions, presentations, general correspondence and policy documentation.
  • Provide high level executive and administrative support to one of the four CECT Standing Committees.
  • Deliver high-level administrative assistance to Corporate Services managers.

Some of the skills and experiences we are looking for are:

  • Diploma of Business Administration or equivalent experience.
  • Proven experience providing high-level executive support and end-to-end event/project management in fast-paced environments with multiple service teams.
  • Strong knowledge of board/committee governance, including agenda preparation, minute-taking, action-tracking and conflict-of-interest register.
  • Demonstrated professional integrity, discretion and commitment to maintaining confidentiality when handling sensitive information.
