Permanent night duty position available for an experienced Registered Nurse | Offering 48hrs minimum per fortnight for the right candidate.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be joining our 21-bed Surgical Ward on a permanent part-time basis, covering predominantly night shifts.

Our Ward specialises in gynaecology, urology, plastics & ENT offering you a diverse and interesting caseload.

Your Skills and Experience

• Current registration with AHRPA as a Registered Nurse      
• Minimum two (2) years’ post-graduate nursing experience in an acute setting
• Recent experience working on a surgical ward
• Availability to work predominantly night duty shifts is essential to be considered
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Proven ability to work effectively in a team and independently as required

Remuneration

On offer is an hourly rate ranging from $36.65 - $51.47 + superannuation based on experience level and qualifications, exclusive of penalties or allowances. (NSW RN/Midwife gr1-gr8) [FTE $72,420.40- $101,704.72]

About Our Hospital

Strathfield Private Hospital has been servicing the community of Sydney’s inner west for over 30 years and is owned by global hospital group Ramsay Health Care. We cater for a broad range of health care needs from day surgery procedures to highly complex surgery.

Strathfield Private is a teaching hospital for Sydney University, conveniently located 200 metres from Strathfield Train Station. Our facilities encompass 84 beds, 7 operating theatres, 1 endoscopy suite, 1 cardiac catheterisation lab, a 10 bed Intensive Care Unit and a Day Surgery Unit. We also have onsite radiology, pathology, café and specialist consulting suites.

Requirements

• Must provide a National Police check conducted within the previous 12 months
• According to the role, Ramsay may require a Working-With-Children check and proof of immunisation against infectious diseases, which may include Covid-19.
