The Opportunity
Our cardiac rehabilitation program assists patients recovering from cardiac events or surgery. Additionally, our new heart failure program focuses on symptom recognition and management strategies.
The cardiac team collaborates closely with our pulmonary program staff, working together to meet the needs of patients in both areas.
- You will be supported by a dedicated team of nurses, clinical staff, and senior clinicians, while reporting to the Cardiac Rehabilitation Program Coordinator.
About You
To succeed in this role you will bring a strong clinical skillset in an acute care setting. Ideally you will have experience in rehabilitation as well.
You will need to have the following:
- Relevant registration with AHPRA as Registered Nurse
- Post-graduate qualification in Coronary Care or Critical Care
- Minimum 5 Years’ acute care experience with proven practice in Coronary Care or Critical Care will be essential.
- Training in cardiac rehabilitation and/or experience in cardiac rehabilitation would be very favourable.
An additional desirable attribute would be training/experience in management of patients with post respiratory conditions.
Remuneration: On offer is base hourly rate ranging from $52.35 + superannuation based on experience level and qualifications, exclusive of penalties or allowances.

Requirements
