Patient Services Assistant
Permanent Part-time Opportunity (64 hours/fortnight)
The Opportunity
Pindara Private hospital has an exciting opportunity for a motivated professional to join the Perioperative Services support team.
As a Patient Services Assistant, you will work as part of a multi-disciplinary team, providing support within the perioperative environment.
Although this role does not involve direct patient contact, your exceptional attention to detail and organisation skills will contribute to patient care in the Operating Theatre.
The key role responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Assisting in the day-to-day function of the Operating Suite by providing and setting up consumable equipment for theatre lists
- Utilise safe materials manual handling techniques to provide a safe environment for patients, yourself and fellow team members.
About You
To succeed in this role, you will be a self-motivated individual with excellent time management and attention to detail. You hold outstanding customer services skills and are able to communicate effectively to a wide variety of audiences.
Key Skills and Experience
- Holds a Certificate III in Health Services or current enrolment in a Diploma / Bachelor of Nursing
- Recent operating theatre experience is desirable.
- An understanding of medical terminology is essential.

Requirements
- Must provide a National Police Check conducted within the previous 12 months
- According to the role, Ramsay may require a Working-With-Children check and proof of immunisation against infectious diseases.
