Practice Manager
Permanent Full-time Opportunity | Noosa Private Hospital
Noosa Private Hospital has a new and exciting role for an experienced Practice Manager to join our team and oversee the effective coordination and direction of the operational services and staffing of employed and agency doctors across ED, ICU and the Wards.
This role will involve, but is not limited to:
- Oversee the responsibility for revenue protection through timely and accurate billing and claims management.
- Work with the Directors in each area to ensure efficiency scheduling of doctors and backfilling any gaps with contract or agency doctors.
- Oversee the effective management of the ED Admin operations including staff and reporting requirements and providing support to the ED Director and ED NUM.
- Work collaboratively with clinical and non-clinic staff to ensure the strategic plan for service delivery is met while reflecting the Ramsay Way.

Your Essential Skills and Experience
- Demonstrated office management experience, ideally with private health/hospital experience
- Proven experienced managing a busy multidisciplinary team
- Exceptional people skills, strong written and verbal communication skills
- Highly organised and able to efficiently prioritise
- Advanced computer skills including Microsoft Office programs
Desirable:
- Qualification in Administration, management or Health Services disciplines will be highly regarded
- Knowledge of health fund contracting system
- Demonstrated flexibility and adaptability to change
- Experience with IBA, Meditech or similar patient administration software
