A unique opportunity exists for a Speech Pathologist to become involved in the hospitals growth and development.  Our Speech Pathologists provide care in a mix of clinical settings: acute inpatients, day rehabilitation and outpatients.  In early 2025 we are opening a new 20 bed inpatient rehabilitation unit. For the right candidate this role could become a permanent position.

About you

• Tertiary qualifications in Speech Pathology
• Eligible for current membership with the Speech Pathology Association of Australia
• Ability to assess, diagnose and manage adults who present with a wide range of swallowing and communication disorders
• Demonstrated positive interpersonal and communication skills (both oral and written)
• Ability to function effectively as a member of a multidisciplinary team
• Proven time and caseload management skills
• Commitment to continuing professional development
• Knowledge and commitment to quality assurance and/or the accreditation process
• Previous experience working with an adult caseload in an acute or rehabilitation setting – desirable
• Ability to be available for on-call weekends

The successful applicants will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and have a strong commitment to quality service provision and promoting the “Ramsay Way” values.

Remuneration

On offer is an hourly rate ranging from $40.75 to $60.98 + casual loading and superannuation, based on qualifications and experience. Exclusive of penalties and allowances.

• Must provide a National Police check conducted within the previous 12 months
