Ramsay Health Care has a fantastic opportunity for a Learning Designer to join our Learning and Organisational Development team on a 6-month, full-time basis.
The Learning Designer is integral to Ramsay Health Care’s digital transformation, supporting the successful implementation of the Workday platform.
Working closely with the Change and Transformation teams, Learning Specialist - HRIS, and Workday SMEs, this role will design and develop innovative learning solutions that equip Ramsay’s workforce with the skills needed for effective system adoption, driving operational excellence, and improving patient outcomes.
With a deep understanding of adult learning principles and cutting-edge digital learning technologies, the Learning Designer creates engaging, interactive, and accessible content for clinical, non-clinical, and corporate audiences, ensuring the learning experience supports Ramsay’s transformation goals and enhances workforce capability.
Your Key Skills and Experiences

You will also demonstrate:
- Proven experience in designing and developing learning content for HRIS implementations (e.g., WorkDay, Oracle, SuccessFactors), ensuring successful system adoption across diverse teams.
- Expertise in adult learning theory, instructional design methodologies, and digital learning technologies, including eLearning authoring tools (e.g., Articulate Storyline, Rise) and multimedia creation (e.g., Vyond, Adobe Creative Cloud).
- Demonstrated ability to build immersive eLearning systems simulations that enhance learner engagement, especially in complex technical environments.
- Experience designing engaging learning experiences across multiple modalities (e.g., eLearning, face-to-face, and blended learning) for diverse audiences, including clinical, non-clinical, and corporate teams.
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and adapt to changing needs within a fast-paced environment
- Experience collaborating with subject matter experts (SMEs) to create tailored, high-quality learning solutions that align with organisational objectives.
Desirable:
- Bachelor's degree in Instructional Design, Education, or a related field, demonstrating a strong foundation in learning and development principles.
- Experience developing learning solutions for non-desk-based roles, addressing the challenges of limited digital literacy, access and time constraints.
- Knowledge of agile project management methodologies
- Experience working with Digital Adoption Platforms (e.g., WalkMe) to enhance user learning and engagement with HRIS systems through real-time guidance and support.
Remuneration
A pro rata of base annual salary $110k - $120k + superannuation, based on experience level and qualifications.
