The Opportunity
We are seeking passionate and experienced Registered Midwives to join our dynamic Birth Unit team. As the busiest private maternity unit in New South Wales, we offer an exciting and fast-paced environment where your skills and dedication will make a real impact on the lives of women and their families.
You’ll work in a supportive and collaborative team environment. The Birth Unit is under new leadership with a strong focus on quality care, professional development, and teamwork.
You’ll be responsible for:
- Providing antenatal care and supporting inductions of labour
- Labour and birth care for both low and high-risk pregnancies
- Attending and assisting at caesarean sections
- Immediate postpartum care for mothers and babies
Skills and Experience
- Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Midwife
- Minimum three (3) years of recent birth unit experience
- Competency in; IV insertion, CTG interpretation and Epidural management
- Strong communication skills and a team-first approach
