The Opportunity
Ramsay Clinic Macarthur is seeking a highly motivated Administration Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the Clinic’s administrative functions including the efficient delivery of the Clinic’s reception, admissions and outpatient services.
This pivotal full-time role requires you to provide supervision and support to your team and to work closely with all departments of the clinic.
Reporting to the Director of Finance, your responsibilities will include day to day operational duties that includes managing and maintaining department KPIs such as labour, revenue and aged debtors.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and supervise the administrative team, including rostering, training, mentoring, performance review and recruitment
- Oversee daily administrative operations, including reception, admissions and outpatients
- Attending operational meetings and facilitating departmental meetings
- Provide support to consulting suites and build strong relationship with our VMOs
- Ensure compliance with established policies and procedures and health fund requirements
- Efficient document control measures are maintained across the department
- Implement and improve administrative processes to enhance efficiency
- Ensure that the Clinic provides exceptional customer service
Skills and Experience
You are a proactive leader with a passion for efficiency, excellence and exceptional communication skills. Your ability to lead, motivate, and support others to achieve results will see you succeed in this role.
You will also demonstrate:
- Qualification in health management or related discipline or a proven record of success in managing a complex range of services in a health environment
- Exceptional stakeholder management skills
- Previous experience in a medical environment
- Experience working with Patient Administration Software (preferably Meditech)
- Knowledge of health fund contracting system
- Demonstrated commercial acumen
- Excellent computer skills (MS Office package)
- Knowledge of Private Health Care System

- Must provide a National Police Check conducted within the previous 12 months
