About the Role

Joondalup Health Campus is seeking a Clinical Nurse Manager to lead, support and empower our 31-bedded Public Orthopaedic, Plastics and Vascular ward. Equipped with some of the latest technology, our highly skilled, multidisciplinary team provides a comprehensive range of both elective and emergency surgical procedures to patients.

As the Clinical Nurse Manager, you will be accountable for the efficient and effective management of all human and material resources within the department. This role encompasses planning, implementing and evaluating practices, processes and services within the department.

 

About You

To succeed in this role, you will bring extensive clinical skills and experience working in an Orthopaedic department and hold a passion for client care.

  • You are a strong advocate for promoting and supporting patient safety, promoting positive Public patient experience and developing strong partnerships with our Visiting Medical Officers.
  • You facilitate and promote the continuous development of clinical expertise and a culture that reflects the Ramsay Values in your nursing team.
  • You have experience in effectively managing teams / human resources, budgets and Key Performance Indicators.
  • You have experience developing clinical care improvement and innovation practices, whilst providing the leadership required to successfully deliver care for the complex clinical case load of this department.

 

The successful candidate will meet the following criteria:

  • Relevant qualifications and registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse
  • Minimum of five (5) years’ experience working in an Acute Hospital, Orthopaedic or Surgical ward.
  • Demonstrated experience in effectively fulfilling leadership roles as well as leading and managing successful teams.
  • Ability to effectively plan and manage financial, human and material resources.
  • Effective change management skills and experience
  • Effective computer/digital skills.
  • Commitment to demonstrating and promoting the Ramsay Way.

 

Candidates who meet the following criteria will be highly regarded:

  • Relevant post-graduate specialty qualifications and/or management qualifications
  • Holding or working towards a tertiary management qualification

 

Remuneration: On offer is base hourly rate in accordance with the Ramsay WA Registered Nurse Award as a Senior Registered Nurse (level will be based on experience), plus superannuation allowance.

Requirements

  • Must provide a National Police check conducted within the previous 12 months
