About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team in a 10-station haemodialysis unit. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality dialysis treatments to patients with chronic kidney disease, ensuring patient safety and comfort throughout the process. Duties include patient assessment, machine setup and monitoring, medication administration, and collaboration with a multidisciplinary team to provide holistic patient care. Prior experience in haemodialysis is preferred; training will be provided.

 

Skills And Experience

  • Perform dialysis treatments in accordance with clinical protocols
  • Monitor patients before, during, and after treatments
  • Operate and troubleshoot dialysis machines
  • Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
  • Provide patient education and support
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proven ability to work effectively in a team and independently as required

Qualifications:

  • Current registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse
  • Strong communication and clinical skills
  • Experience in nephrology or dialysis nursing is an advantage

 

Remuneration

On offer is a base hourly rate ranging from $41.89 - $54.01+ superannuation based on experience level and qualifications, exclusive of penalties or allowances. (QLD RN/Midwife Level 1 gr2-gr8)

Requirements

  • Must provide a National Police Check conducted within the previous 12 months
