About the Role
The Rehabilitation Unit at John Flynn Hospital comprises of multiple private rooms across two floors and a well-equipped gym and activities area. Our Unit offers a range of comprehensive in-patient programs including neurological, falls prevention, orthopaedic, reconditioning and amputee specialties. We practice a multidisciplinary approach to health care, involving patient, family, team members and allied health professionals to achieve the best outcome possible.
As a Registered Nurse you will perform duties with the support and guidance of the Nurse Unit Manager, Clinical Nurse and Shift Leaders to ensure a high level of quality patient care is delivered within the ward. You will be responsible for the assessment, planning, coordination and evaluation of patients.
Our aim is to help each patient optimise his or her health and functional independence.
About You
To succeed in this role, you will bring a strong clinical skillset and a passion to learn new skills and develop your clinical knowledge. You will have exceptional customer service and well-developed communication and interpersonal skills.
You will also demonstrate.
- Current registration with AHPRA
- Minimum (2) years’ experience in a Rehabilitation or Acute Unit
- Demonstrates excellent time management and organisational skills
- Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment and independently as required
Remuneration
On offer is a base hourly rate ranging from $41.89 - $54.01+ superannuation based on experience level and qualifications, exclusive of penalties or allowances. (QLD RN/Midwife Level 1 gr2-gr8)

Requirements
- Must provide a National Police Check conducted within the previous 12 months
