Nurse Unit Manager Theatre & Recovery

The Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced and proactive clinician who is ready to take the next step as a Nurse Unit Manager. In this role you will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the Theatre & Recovery Unit. You will have a strong commitment to patient safety and customer services.

You'll develop and nurture strong working relationships with doctors and clinic staff.

A proven commitment to high-quality, evidence-based care is essential for the successful candidate. You will need to demonstrate the ability to be solution focused and implement change principles to meet growth and demand. 

Customer focus is a priority in all aspects of care delivered in line with Ramsay's core values. The successful applicant is required to provide support and mentorship to the team in all areas of management and facilitate opportunities for the team.

Skills and experience:

  • Relevant registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse
  • Extensive experience in Theatre & Recovery
  • Prior experience at a Nurse Unit Manager level will be viewed favourably.
  • Strong desire to successfully enhance team performance and experience.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills to motivate, inspire and support others.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

 Desirable:

  • Relevant post-graduate specialty qualifications and/or management qualifications

Requirements

  • Must provide a National Police Check conducted within the previous 12 months
