Procurement Analyst
The Opportunity
Ramsay Health Care has an opportunity for a Procurement Analyst to join our team. Reporting to the Integrated Business Planning Manager, this role will support the Procurement team with analysis, strategic projects and collaborate broadly across the business.
In addition, the Analyst will also hold the following key role accountabilities:
- Support category management activities, including pricing reviews, tender assessments, and market share analysis.
- Drive continuous improvement by further developing Power BI dashboards to enhance clarity and insight.
- Proactively analyse and provide insights into spend, market trends, compliance, and cost modelling, delivering actionable recommendations.
- Evaluate savings initiatives and track project success and benefit realisation.
- Monitor contract performance to ensure suppliers meet agreed SLAs and commercial KPIs.
- Prepare and present daily and month-end reports to executives and members of the procurement team.
Your Key Skills and Experience
- Proficient in SAP, Microsoft Excel, and Power BI.
- Strong attention to detail and a natural curiosity, with the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to engage effectively cross cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
- Experience in analytics related to contract or procurement data management, ideally within a fast-paced or evolving organisation.
- Detail-oriented and proactive, with the ability to thrive in a dynamic and rapidly changing environment.
- Strong commercial acumen, with proven problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently
Desirable:
- Previous experience within the healthcare sector
- Project management experience
Qualifications and Accreditations
- Qualifications in a relevant discipline such as Data Science, Economics, Engineering, Statistics
