Graduate/Student Facilitator
Full-Time fixed opportunity until February 2026.
About the Role
As the Graduate/Student Facilitator you will provide clinical education, supervision, and support to nursing students undertaking clinical placement in the hospital from approved tertiary institutions. Shifts include earlies and lates across a Monday – Friday roster (no weekends, no night shifts).
Working in collaboration with Nurse Unit Managers, trained Preceptors and Educators, to provide a high standard of support and clinical teaching and assessment in accordance with the requirements and provisions of the Ramsay undergraduate program.
About You
To be successful you will have experience as a senior Registered Nurse, be an organised and efficient professional with advanced skills in nursing assessment and highly developed clinical problem-solving skills. You will be a positive role model with a natural ability to mentor and support staff with an innovative approach to education delivery. You have a passion for patient care and a high standard of customer-focused service in line with Ramsay’s core values.
You will also demonstrate:
- Relevant nursing registration with AHPRA
- Minimum two (2) years’ post registration experience in an acute hospital setting
- Certificate IV in Workplace Training and Assessment / Postgraduate in Nursing Education or equivalent is desirable
- Completion of Preceptorship Program highly desirable
- Previous experience in an education/preceptor role advantageous
- Proven ability to work effectively in a team and independently where required
- Ability to plan and coordinate groups of students across various year levels
- Strong understanding of basic computer skills including the Microsoft Office Suite.

Requirements
- Must provide a National Police Check conducted within the previous 12 months
- According to the role, Ramsay may require a Working-With-Children check and proof of immunisation against infectious diseases.
