The Opportunity

Ramsay Clinic Macarthur requires an enthusiastic and highly motivated Clinical Psychologist/DBT Therapist to co-facilitate the outpatient group programs. As part of our growing and diverse Allied Health team, the successful candidate will also be working across our inpatient therapy group programs. The current team takes a patient centred and dynamic approach to the care of our patients and the successful applicant will share our passion.

 

Skills and Experience

You will have the ability to plan and organise skills groups, along with a commitment to excellence in the delivery of healthcare services to patients seeking mental health treatment. To succeed in this role, you will be a motivated and flexible team player with a high degree of professionalism.

You will need to demonstrate:

  • Accredited undergraduate degree in Psychology, APHRA registered and unrestricted general registration with the Psychology Board of Australia or equivalent mental health care professional registration such as Mental Health Social Worker
  • Training and experience facilitating group therapy using Cognitive Behaviour Therapy and Dialectical Behaviour Therapy
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to be self-motivated and function autonomously whilst also being able to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team
  • Excellent time management and organisational skills
  • Ability to facilitate and deliver skill group content with creativity and flexibility
  • Able to plan, organise and prioritise workload in a complex therapeutic environment
  • Familiar with Microsoft Suite

 

Remuneration

On offer is base hourly salary ranging from:

Psychologist - $36.35 - $56.49 + superannuation based on experience level and qualifications, exclusive of penalties or allowances. (NSW HPSS EA Year 1-8)

Clinical Psychologist - $54.77 - $67.05 + superannuation based on experience level and qualifications, exclusive of penalties or allowances. (NSW HPSS EA Year 1-5)

The Hospital

Ramsay Clinic Macarthur is a 48-bed facility, located near the centre of Campbelltown providing specialised and holistic treatment for a range of mental health presentations. Requirements

  • Must provide a National Police Check conducted within the previous 12 months
  • According to the role, Ramsay may require a Working-With-Children check and proof of immunisation against infectious diseases.
