About the Role
The Greenslopes Private Hospital is seeking applications from experienced a Clinical Safety Coordinator to join the Quality and Safety Unit. This position is permanent part time (0.6FTE).
The Clinical Safety Coordinator leads implementation and monitoring of the Hospitals Quality Management through clinical incident management, data analysis and quality improvement. The position also supports embedding the National Safety and Quality in Health Service (NSQHS) standards and in preparation of the Hospital towards Accreditation.
As part of the Quality and Safety Unit, you will work closely with Managers and Team Leaders from across the Hospital to support the provision of high quality and safe care.
About You
- Relevant tertiary degree qualification and appropriate registration/licenses with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) as a Registered Nurse (RN)
- Demonstrate experience working in safety and quality and continuous improvement and an active desire to enhance and develop Safety and Quality culture
- Experience in clinical incident management
- Current knowledge of National Safety and Quality in Health Service (NSQHS) standards
- High level critical thinking and problem-solving skills
- The ability to successfully work as a team member and independently when required
- Excellent computer skills using the MS office suite of programs
- Demonstrate ability to work as a motivated, enthusiastic and positive role model for all clinical and non-clinical disciplines and services within the hospital environment
- Excellent work ethic and time management skills
Whilst not considered mandatory, a post graduate certification will be highly regarded.
Remuneration
On offer is a base hourly rate ranging from: $62.29 + superannuation based on experience level and qualifications, exclusive of penalties or allowances. (QLD RN level 3 Yr 1)

Requirements
- Must provide a National Police Check conducted within the previous 12 months
