We are looking for an enthusiastic and detail orientated Clinical Billing Compliance Auditor to join our National Audit Team.

 

About the role

The Clinical Billing Compliance Auditor will apply clinical expertise responding to insurer audits by facilitating onsite and remote clinical billing audits. The auditor role will also be integral to monitoring audit trends to develop internal clinical billing initiatives resulting in clinical service billing accuracy.  The Clinical Biling Compliance Auditor will also provide guidance to a wide range of workgroups relating to clinical billing audit matters and establish positive working relationships with both Ramsay billing and insurer audit teams.

 

Your Skills and Experience

Essential

  • Bachelor of Health Science (Nursing, Health Science) or equivalent
  • Demonstrated understanding of hospital inpatient episode funding
  • Ability to travel to facilitate onsite health fund audits or support other audit initiatives
  • Ability to analyse data sets to identify trends and develop plans for accuracy improvement
  • Excellent time management and organisational skills.
  • Demonstrated high level verbal, written and interpersonal skills
  • Sound computer literacy and skills within the Microsoft Office Suite.

Desirable

  • Previous Private Hospital Audit experience.
  • Detailed knowledge of billing in relation to prostheses, consumables, MBS and theatre processes.
  • Familiarity with patient administration software (e.g. Meditech).
