We are seeking a Catering Lead Hand to assist with the day-to-day co-ordination of the Patient Catering team at John Flynn Private Hospital. This is a Permanent part-time opportunity with a Global Health Care Company!
About the role
Supporting and assistance to our patient catering team under the direction and instruction of the Food Services Manager.
You will lead a team of other highly motivated catering assistants and collaborate with the Food Services Manager on rostering and training of the team.
Skills and Experience
- Recent experience in the catering department is desirable
- Relevant experience leading a team is desirable
- Effective interpersonal and communication skills
- Customer service face to face and phone
- Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment and independently when required
- Excellent time management skills
- Sound written & verbal communication skills
- Maintaining food hygiene, a clean working area and safety practices
- Availability across a 7-day roster, including morning and afternoon shifts
- Ability to implement change as required
Remuneration
On offer is a base hourly rate of $32.22 + superannuation based on experience level and qualifications, exclusive of penalties or allowances.

Requirements
- Must provide a National Police check conducted within the previous 12 months
