The Opportunity
As a Storeperson, you will support our Supply team maintaining an effective and efficient supply service. This role’s key focus will be receiving and issuing medical and non-medical consumables and other items as required.
This will involve, but is not limited to:
- General housekeeping of the stock storage areas.
- Distributing goods as directed using our SAP computer system.
- Loading, picking and delivering stock both at the Supply department and around the hospital.
- Issuing materials from store; preparing items / goods for departments
- Ensuring all operational procedures are adhered to and documentation completed correctly.
- Stocktakes as directed.
Skills and Experience
To succeed in this role, you will demonstrate a strong work ethic, communication skills and proven ability to manage multiple tasks to achieve deadlines.
You will also demonstrate:
- Experience working in a service-focused busy supply environment.
- Experience reading picking documents and picking stock accurately.
- Experience in minimum / maximum stock control principles.
- Ability to use and operate stores equipment, motorised pallet trucks.
- Proven skill in working in a highly organised and systematic manner.
- Excellent administration and organisation skills.
- Attention to detail and ability to observe and prevent operational issues.
- Proven ability to providing an efficient, helpful and friendly service to customers.
- Ability to use initiative, self-motivation, work as a team member with minimal supervision.
- Respect for others and the rules of our working environment.

Requirements
- Must provide a National Police Check conducted within the previous 12 months
