Pharmacy Imprest Technician
The Opportunity
Ramsay Health Care has an opportunity for a Pharmacy Imprest Technician to join our team. Reporting to the Pharmacy Procurement Team Leader, this role will maintain and control the supply of imprest in the hospital wards, with a focus on costs.
Key role accountabilities include:
- Ensure supply of requested products/services to clients is completed in an efficient, accurate, professional, friendly and expedient manner
- Maintain and control the supply of imprest at the designated wards, in order to minimise medication expenditure to hospitals
- Assist with accounts payable functions
- Be involved in and aware of Dispensary/Pharmacy’s obligation to supply products in the most cost-effective and clinically appropriate way
- Maintain imprest levels at the designated wards including ordering and supply in a timely manner
- Assist with stock control to ensure that adequate stock is kept in the ward locations
- Ensure all documentation is accurate and completed in a professional and timely manner
- Ensure that Dispensary/Pharmacy Department delivers the highest level of customer service
Your Key Skills and Experience
- Experience using a Pharmacy Inventory Management System
- Microsoft Excel, Word & Outlook
- Merlin Dispensing System (where applicable)
Effective communication skills and proven ability to work effectively in a team environment and independently as required.
Desirable:
- Advanced communication skills
- Effective skills in problem solving & time management

Requirements
- A National Police check conducted within the previous 12 months may be asked of you.
