The Opportunity
This role will see you joining a multi-disciplinary team which prides itself on exceeding Ramsay’s high standard of care with a professional and positive attitude by creating a friendly, caring and comfortable environment for our patients requiring Oncology and Haematology procedures.
This part-time opportunity is ideal for an experienced Registered Nurse to coordinate care for our cancer patients within Cancer Services. The role requires working independently to support patients from their initial visit onward, providing education, follow-up support, problem-solving, and consultation with the Visiting Medical Officer (VMO) group.
The Infusion Unit specialises in the care and support of patients requiring infusion and cytotoxic therapies: for chronic illness and cancer including chemotherapy, haematological treatments, iron infusions, blood infusions and specialist drug infusions.
Your Skills and Experience
- Relevant registration with AHPRA.
- Monitoring and managing patient progress during treatments.
- Strong Clinical Skill set.
- Have knowledge of CVAD’s and care requirements
- Have experience or willing to learn chemotherapy administration.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with care and attention to detail.
- Relevant post graduate qualifications will be highly regarded.

Essential Requirements
- Must provide a National Police Check conducted within the previous 12 months
- According to the role, Ramsay may require a Working-With-Children check and proof of immunisation against infectious diseases.
