Pharmacy Systems Trainer
About the role
Ramsay Pharmacy is seeking a proactive and experienced Pharmacy Systems Trainer to help drive excellence across our Pharmacy teams. In this dynamic role, you’ll ensure team members are confidently equipped to navigate our systems, empowering them to deliver outstanding pharmaceutical care every day. This is a full time position, with the flexibility to work from home and across the wider community and hospital sites. Travel will be required based on business and training needs.
What you'll be doing:
- Leading and coordinating training for Ramsay team members in clinical and non-clinical operational systems used across the Ramsay network
- Delivering training and learning solutions to support proficiency of Ramsay team members across relevant systems, ensuring standardised operations across the group for clinical quality control and excellence, while meeting compliance standards
- Contributing to continuous quality improvement by facilitating feedback between system end users, systems support, and clinical, quality, and development teams
- Providing oversight, support, and performance enhancement for employees within your area of responsibility, ensuring staff development aligns with organisational and professional objectives
- Participating in, practise, and support the efficient, profitable, and ethical operations of the pharmacy/dispensary, in accordance with Ramsay Pharmacy and Ramsay Healthcare’s policies, procedures, relevant pharmacy legislation or guidelines, and designated scope of practice
What we're looking for:
- Extensive experience in a hospital and/or retail setting, with a strong understanding of pharmacy systems and processes
- Passion for innovation in education and training solutions
- Ability to simplify complex information into practical frameworks and convey it effectively to a diverse range of audience
- High level of computer literacy and proficiency in using virtual training platforms and e-learning tools
- Strong organisational and time management skills
- Problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot technical issues
- Certificate III and/or Certificate IV in Community Pharmacy or Hospital and Health Services (desirable)
- Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (desirable)
