The Opportunity
We are seeking Sterilisation Technicians to join our Sterile Supply team at Albury Wodonga Private Hospital. This role will see you working as a member of our CSSD Team to provide timely sterile products, trays and equipment where needed.
This is a critical part of the surgical process and the ability to work efficiently with your team to manage pressing deadlines is crucial.
In this role, you will be responsible for:
- Carrying out the cleaning, assembly, inspection, wrapping and sterilisation of surgical instruments and medical equipment
- Ensuring consistency and continuous workflow between the various hospital areas and CSD
- Providing exceptional customer service and maintaining the high operational standards of the sterilisation department
We are a 5 day per week facility, no on call or weekends with a mix of early, day and afternoon shifts.
Skills and Experience
To succeed in this role, you will bring proven experience in Clinical Sterilisation services, ideally within a hospital setting.
You will also bring:
- Certificate III in Sterilisation Services
- Minimum 2 years’ experience within a hospital sterilisation setting
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Proven ability for self-direction and ability to work cohesively with a team.
- Knowledge of safe manual handling.
