About the Role
We are seeking passionate and committed Registered Nurses to join our Medical and Oncology Unit. In this role, you will provide specialised care to patients undergoing cancer treatment, palliative care and those requiring complex medical support

Whether you are an experienced Oncology Nurse or a skilled clinician eager to expand your expertise in cancer and palliative care, we welcome your application.

Comprehensive training, including the Administration of Chemotherapy course (ADAC), is available to support your development. You will be working alongside a multidisciplinary team focused on delivering individualised, empathetic care to patients and their families throughout their treatment journey.

 

What You Will Bring
To succeed in this role, you will demonstrate:

  • Current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
  • Minimum of two years’ experience in an acute care hospital setting
  • A passion for delivering high-quality, patient-centred care
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, multidisciplinary team environment

Desirable Skills

  • Experience in oncology, haematology, or palliative care
  • Competence in chemotherapy administration and cannulation (preferred but not essential)

Remuneration

A base hourly rate ranging from $41.89 - $54.01+ superannuation based on experience level and qualifications, exclusive of penalties or allowances. (QLD RN/Midwife Level 1 gr2-gr8).

Requirements

  • Must provide a National Police Check conducted within the previous 12 months
  • According to the role, Ramsay may require a Working-With-Children check and proof of immunisation against infectious diseases.
