About the Role
We are currently seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Haemodialysis Unit on a part-time basis. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering safe, effective, and evidence-based dialysis treatments to patients with chronic kidney disease.
You will provide holistic care, including patient assessment, monitoring, medication administration, and machine setup, while ensuring patient comfort and safety throughout the dialysis process. You will work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team in a professional and dynamic environment.
While prior experience in haemodialysis is preferred, training will be provided to the right candidate.
What You’ll Bring
You are a motivated and experienced nurse who leads with empathy, professionalism, and clinical expertise.
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Current registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse.
- Minimum 2 years’ post-graduate experience in Renal - Haemodialysis
- Relevant post-graduate qualification or currently working towards a Renal Certificate (highly regarded).
- Strong time management, clinical decision-making, and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work autonomously and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- A commitment to quality care, continuous improvement, and professional development.
- Sound understanding of the ANMC Competency Standards.
Remuneration: On offer is base hourly rate ranging from $41.89 - $54.01+ superannuation based on experience level and qualifications, exclusive of penalties or allowances. (QLD RN/Midwife Level 1 gr2-gr8).

Facilities include 9 state-of-the-art operating theatres, two cardiac catheter laboratories, a minor procedure room, a day surgery unit, an 11 bed intensive care unit/coronary care unit and an 9 chair day therapy unit. Medical consulting suites are located onsite together with comprehensive pathology and radiology services.

Requirements
- Must provide a National Police check conducted within the previous 12 months
- According to the role, Ramsay may require a Working-With-Children check and proof of immunisation against infectious diseases.
