We are looking for casual staff to support clinicians and provide quality care across various hospital specialties including perioperative, general medical and surgical wards, critical care, oncology and mental health.

This is a great opportunity to gain hands-on experience and build your skills in a dynamic environment!

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist patients with personal care and mobility
  • Support safe patient transport and manual handling
  • Clean and prepare beds and equipment
  • Restock supplies to ensure smooth ward operations

Your Skills and Experience

  • Certificate III in Health Service Assistance or similar
  • Experience in a hospital preferred, but not essential
  • Excellent communication and time management skills
  • Knowledge of infection control and safe manual handling practices
  • A positive, can-do attitude

 

This role requires you to have the flexibility to work a rotating roster, 7-days a week, in a fast-paced environment. Availability, including afternoon and night shifts is ideal. Flexible rostering options are available, short shifts and school holiday leave all considered.

 

Remuneration

A base hourly rate ranging from $29.89 - $31.76 + superannuation, based on experience level and qualifications, exclusive of penalties or allowances (WA PAC/AIN)

Requirements

  • Must provide a National Police Check conducted within the previous 12 months
  • According to the role, Ramsay may require a Working-With-Children check and proof of immunisation against infectious diseases.
