About the Role
Our Medical and Oncology Unit cares for patients undergoing cancer treatment, palliative care, and those requiring complex medical support. This role offers the opportunity to work in a highly rewarding specialty, supported by a strong, multidisciplinary team and access to ongoing education.

Key Responsibilities
- Provide safe, high-quality, patient-centred care.
- Monitor and assess patients, responding promptly to clinical changes.
- Assist with procedures and care planning.
- Educate and support patients and their families throughout treatment.
- Collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
- Contribute to quality improvement initiatives and maintain accurate documentation.
What You’ll Bring
- Current registration with AHPRA.
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in an acute care hospital setting.
- A passion for delivering compassionate, patient-focused care.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-based environment.
Desirable Skills
- Experience in oncology, haematology, or palliative care.
- Competence in chemotherapy administration and cannulation (preferred but not essential).
Remuneration:
- RN On offer is a base hourly rate ranging from $41.89 - $54.01+ superannuation based on experience level and qualifications, exclusive of penalties or allowances. (QLD RN/Midwife Level 1 gr2-gr8).
- EN On offer is a base hourly rate ranging from $35.78 - $39.96 + superannuation based on experience level and qualifications, exclusive of penalties or allowances. (QLD EEN level 1-2 gr1-gr6).
