National Cadet Program Coordinator

The National Cadetship Program Coordinator is responsible to coordinate the Cadet program across Ramsay facilities, acting as a key link between Ramsay sites and Education Providers (EPs) to establish, build, expand and develop the cadetship programs nationally and to ensure it fulfils its aim of streamlining a powerful pipeline of future talent for Ramsay.
As part of the National Learning & Organisational Development Team, the Early Career team is a centre of excellence for the wider Ramsay and oversees and supports all coordination of programs within the function.
This role has a strong focus on connecting the Cadet Program execution with the wider National Student Placement Program as well as ensuring the conversion student to graduate is achieved in collaboration with our Graduate Recruitment team.
The National Cadetship Program Coordinator will also be required to work closely with the wider L&OD and People team, Nursing & Midwifery Academy, site educators, and senior Leaders within Ramsay, as well as be a point of contact for Education Providers (EPs)
Key areas of responsibility include
• Establishing annual Cadet recruitment numbers with sites and communicating this information to EP's
• Establishing Promo dates with EPs to ensure Cadetship program is advertised and promoted to undergraduate students for recruitment purposes
• Liaising with sites to establish recruitment processes utilising Nationally standardised recruitment tools and alignment with Graduate Recruitment strategy and assisting sites with recruitment of cadets through Page-up system as wells as managing the National data-base to ensure all Cadets are current.
• Collaborating with the Student placement team to ensure Cadet placements are prioritised and streamlined to meet EP Requirements.
• Ongoing engagement with sites to ensure collaborative approach to cadetship program
• Ongoing engagement with cadets at touchpoints utilising multi-media opportunities to establish and maintain RHC relationship with Cadets at key moments during undergraduate journey.
• Establish and maintain automation in relation to flagging opportunities for Cadets with RHC for paid employment in AIN and other non-clinical roles.
Essential
• Strong engagement with external Education Providers and internal Ramsay key stakeholders
Experience coordinating student-related programs at a site level
• Proactive, solution orientated, and outcome focused, with a demonstrated ability to resolve issues as identified
• A growth mindset, with a demonstrated experience in reviewing and implementing more efficient work processes
• Effective time management skills, including the ability to prioritise workload and competing priorities, and deliver projects within agreed timeframes
• Excellent oral and written communication skills with the ability to provide clear and concise guidance/information to Ramsay sites, education providers and students.
• Highly collaborative, with a natural desire to partner with colleagues and team members on projects to achieve effective outcomes.
• Proficient across the Microsoft Office 365 suite including, Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
• Technologically savvy, with experience using SharePoint and workflow tasks
Desirable
• Experience with InPlace software
