Night Duty Assistant Nurse Unit Manager to join our friendly team

About the Role
This key leadership role at Donvale Rehabilitation Hospital's rehabilitation ward will see you leading and supporting a dynamic team of night nurses. You will work closely with the Nurse Unit Manager to ensure the efficient management of staff and resources within the ward, and the achievement of excellence in care delivery - in line with policies and procedures, best practice and legislative requirements.
You will be mentoring and leading a passionate team of nurses and clinical support staff alongside a supportive leadership team so this role will suit an individual driven to help others succeed. This is a perfect opportunity for a senior nurse to step up into a management role and build your clinical leadership skillset.
About You
To succeed in this role, you will bring a strong clinical skillset in an acute care or rehabilitation setting. You will have exceptional customer service and time management skills with a passion for quality patient outcomes. Specialty experience within a Rehabilitation ward will be highly regarded. You will also bring a capacity to lead and inspire a team of clinical professionals and act as a passionate mentor.
You will need to have the following:
- Relevant registration with AHPRA as Registered Nurse
- Minimum 3 years' proven acute care experience post AHPRA registration in a hospital environment
- Any relevant postgraduate qualifications or specialty experience within Rehabilitation will be highly regarded
- Clinical leadership experience will by highly regarded
- Availability to cover night duty shifts and work 9.5hr shifts is essential
- Flexibility to work across a rotating 7-day roster
Remuneration: On offer is base hourly rate ranging from $55.92 - $ 57.76 + superannuation based on experience level and qualifications, exclusive of penalties or allowances.

Requirements
- Must provide a National Police Check conducted within the previous 12 months
