About the Role
This casual position is ideal for individuals who thrive in a fast-paced environment and are passionate about delivering exceptional service with our allied health team at John Flynn Private Hospital in Tugun and potentially at our Mermaid Ramsay Health Plus Clinic in Mermaid Waters. You will play a vital role in supporting both clinical teams and administrative operations to ensure the clinic runs smoothly and efficiently.
In this role, you will provide high-quality administrative support across various functions, including:
• Patient and client admissions and management.
• Preparation and maintenance of patient documentation.
• Managing incoming and outgoing correspondence.
• Responding to queries from patients, staff, and visitors.
About You
You are a proactive and enthusiastic team player who can multitask and adapt in a busy healthcare environment.
To succeed in this role, you will have:
• Previous experience in an administrative role (essential).
• Excellent organisational and time management skills.
• Strong attention to detail and service delivery focus.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to communicate professionally with internal and external stakeholders.
• A flexible and collaborative approach to teamwork.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
Desirable
• Experience in healthcare or hospital administration.
• Knowledge of medical terminology.
• Familiarity with patient management systems (e.g Nookal, allied health system).
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
Remuneration
A base hourly rate of $27.79 AUD + superannuation based on experience level and qualifications, exclusive of penalties or allowances.
