- Clinical Nurse – Staff Development
- Permanent position - 38 hours per fortnight
The Opportunity
Joondalup Health Campus is seeking a Perioperative Nurse to join our passionate education team.
As a Staff Development Nurse, you will work as an integral member of the education team and ensure safe delivery of care, in line with the core values and strategic direction of the department, Hospital and Ramsay Health Care.
Duties and responsibilities will involve, but are not limited to.
- Provides technical and clinical support to the Perioperative Department
- Assessment and facilitation of core competencies
- Provide ongoing support and education to members of the multidisciplinary team
- Compliance with all legislative requirements in the workplace including occupational Health & Safety acts and workers’ compensation.
About You
To succeed in this role, you will bring a strong clinical skillset in a hospital setting with experience working in the Perioperative Department.
Your passion for providing quality care, ability to work within a fast-paced, multi-disciplinary team environment and your client-first attitude is essential for this role.
The successful candidate will also meet the following:
- Registration with AHPRA as a Division 1 Registered Nurse.
- Minimum of five (5) years’ experience working as a Registered Nurse in the Perioperative Department.
- Ability to effectively communicate as well as plan and facilitate the delivery of education sessions to the multidisciplinary team.
- Successful completion of the Ramsay Preceptor Course is essential.
- Basic Life Support and Patient Manual Handling Assessor’s courses are desirable but not essential as they can be facilitated upon appointment.
- Willingness to accept and promote Ramsay’s core values
Desirable:
- Anaesthetics and recovery experience preferable.
Remuneration: On offer is base annual salary ranging from $101,393.65- $107,728.19+ superannuation based on experience level and qualifications, exclusive of penalties or allowances. (WA Clinical Nurse/Midwife Level 2 gr1-gr4)

Requirements
- Must provide a National Police check conducted within the previous 12 months
