Clinical Nurse

 

 

 

An exciting opportunity has become available on EDIS ward for an experienced and patient-focused Acting Clinical Nurse in our dedicated team!

 

This role will see you work on Edis ward, Hollywood Clinic, a private mental health facility located at Hollywood Private Hospital. The ward offers a range of mental health programs and therapies including ECT and Esketamine in a calm, recovery focused environment.

 

This direct leadership role will see you leading and supporting our front-line team members whilst working alongside a passionate multidisciplinary team.

 

Your day-to-day operations will include problem solving, fostering a positive and supportive culture and providing dedicated and specialised advice to team members. In addition, you will perform accurate and comprehensive patient assessment to address short and long-term needs to support patients in their recovery.

 

 

 

The successful candidate will meet the following criteria:

 

• Registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse

• Minimum of three years’ post-registration with Mental Health experience

• Working knowledge of the application of the National Standards in the Mental Health setting

• A commitment to Mental Health & Wellbeing promotion

• Experience in coordinating shifts and managing the unit after hours

• Demonstrated well-developed planning, prioritisation and time management skills

• Ability to supervise, lead, direct and motivate staff to achieve outcomes

• Willingness to accept and promote Ramsay’s core values

 

 

 

• Ability to facilitate psychoeducation groups

• Facilitate ward-based education

 

 

Flexibility to work across a seven-day rotating roster, including morning and afternoon shifts is critical for this role.
