We are seeking an experienced and proactive professional who is ready to take the next step in their career. This is a Fixed Term Full Time position (12 month contract).

 

About the Role

 

This is a Management position in the Clinical Services team. Reporting to the Quality and Clinical Support Manager, this role will be required to implement and oversee the clinical education program of a large teaching hospital while providing clinical leadership to the clinical education team and speciality nurses. 

 

About You

 

To succeed in this role, you will be an organised, qualified health professional with proven ability to successfully develop, implement and evaluate clinical education programs and provide strong strategic direction and positive leadership.

As this position will be required to communicate and lead a team, along with undertaking reporting and policy development and review; you will be required to demonstrate your experience delivering education programs aligned with best practice and legislative requirements and clinical governance principles along with excellent written and verbal communication and high level interpersonal skills.

To ensure your success in this role you will combine your experience in effectively managing human resources with a demonstrated ability to meet deadlines, problem solve and set goals and objectives as part of the Clinical Services team.  In addition to excellent time management, you will need to be flexible, adapt to change quickly, and have the ability to work in a fast paced, multi-disciplinary environment.

 

You will also bring:

 

  • Relevant registration with AHPRA
  • 5 years’ experience in a clinical education role in an acute care hospital
  • Post-graduate tertiary qualification in Education or Management will be highly regarded
