Clinical Nurse – Permanent Position Available!

The Role

An exciting opportunity exists for dynamic and innovative Clinical Nurses to assist the Nurse Unit Manager to lead a diverse team of specialties in our Medical/ Surgical Units. This role reports to the Nurse Unit Manager and incorporates delegation of duties, supervision of a team and provision of care delivery within the unit.  The Clinical Nurse’s role is a pivotal one that requires a commitment to the provision of quality care, risk management and professional development. 

The opportunity available is for a permanent part time Clinical Nurse with 72 hours per Fortnight.   

We are looking for a highly motivated, enthusiastic and experienced Registered Nurse to join our team of Clinical Nurses.  You must be organised and committed to the provision of quality health care in a team environment. A thorough understanding of current scopes of practice for RN’s and EN’s and the model of team nursing is essential.

To succeed in this role you will bring a strong clinical skillset with a passion for client care and a high standard of customer-focused service in line with Ramsay's core values. You will have a committed and proactive approach to professional development, demonstrated experience in mentoring clinical staff and be an exceptional and positive clinical leader and role model. Strong communication skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment will also be looked upon favourably.

Essential Criteria: 

  • Relevant registration with the Nursing & Midwifery Board of Australia
  • Minimum Five (5) years’ Experience as a Registered nurse
  • Demonstrates excellent time management, problem solving and organizational skills
  • Demonstrated ability to provide exceptional customer service

Desirable Criteria: 

  • Post registration experience in a diverse surgical and medical environment
  • Excellent communication and ability to facilitate change
  • Proven ability to work as a team leader and foster a motivated team environment
  • Demonstrated ability to provide exceptional customer service
  • Previous experience and involvement in Quality Improvement Processes

The hospital is located a few minutes’ drive from the heart of beautiful Noosa and caters for both public and private patients. Owned and operated by Ramsay Health Care, Australia’s largest and most respected operator of private hospitals, Noosa Hospital is a dynamic and thriving 92 bed acute Surgical and Medical Hospital located on Queensland’s Sunshine Coast. The Hospital treats private and public patients, under a contract with Queensland Health and comprises Medical / Surgical Wards, Operating Theatres, Endoscopy Unit, Intensive Care, Renal Dialysis, Oncology and a busy Emergency Department.

Remuneration

On offer is a PRO RATA Full-Time Equivalent salary ranging from;

  • $92,000 - $98,000 + Superannuation per annum based on experience level
