About the Role
We are seeking an energetic and innovative CSSD Supervisor with a strong team focus to assist in the day to day coordination of the Central Sterilising Stores Department activities. In this role you will be required to lead a small team of CSSD Technicians to ensure departmental tasks are achieved in an effective and efficient manner. This position requires an individual with the ability to be a positive role model and a passionate mentor.
You will work across a Monday-Friday roster including early and late shifts.
To succeed in this role, you will be a positive role model with a passion for delivering exceptional customer service. You will have exceptional communication skills and will be a passionate mentor with the capability to support and assist in the leadership of a team of professionals.
You will also demonstrate;
- Certificate III in Sterilising Services, or working towards obtaining such qualification
- Minimum 3 (three) years’ CSSD experience essential with leadership experience highly desirable
- Extensive knowledge of standards & AS4187 requirements
- Experience in competency assessment and staff training
- A Cert IV in Sterilising or Training & Assessment will be highly desirable
On offer is a salary range of $60,000-$70,000 + Superannuation.
Glenferrie Private Hospital specialises in providing care for private short-stay patients undergoing orthopaedic and specialist surgery. The hospital’s purpose-designed day stay area has 12 beds. There are a further 19 beds for patients requiring overnight care.
