There are permanent part-time, casual and night duty roles on offer with hours to match your availability.
About the Role
Glenferrie Private Hospital has 3 modern operating theatres with the latest equipment, and a purpose built day surgery facility. We specialise in providing care for private short-stay patients undergoing orthopaedic and specialist surgery. While our atmosphere is relaxed, our equipment and facilities are at the forefront of medical technology and practice.
In this role you will work within our busy Surgical Ward 1, specialising primarily in orthopaedic cases alongside some pain management and plastics patients. You will work across a rotating 7-day roster, so flexibility is key.
To succeed in this role, you will bring a strong clinical skillset in a hospital setting as a trained Registered Nurse. Ideally, you will bring specialty Orthopaedic experience but this role is also open to skilled nurses of other acute surgical backgrounds.
You will hold a passion for client care and a high standard of customer-focused service in line with Ramsay's core values. You will have exceptional communication skills and have the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
You will also bring;
- Relevant qualifications and Registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse.
- 3 years minimum acute care experience in a general surgical ward or unit.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively as part of a high-performing team.
- Relevant post-graduate specialty qualifications will be highly regarded, though not essential.
On offer is an hourly rate ranging from $31.00 -$42.00 plus superannuation, based on experience and qualifications.
