We are seeking professional scrub scouts to join our Operating Theatre team at Greenslopes Private Hospital. We have multiple permanent part-time roles on offer with hours dependent on candidate availability.
About the Role
In this role you will be joining one of the largest private surgical departments in Queensland and will provide surgical services across our 19 operating theatres.
You will utilise the latest advancements in Health technology and will work across a variety of specialities, including 15 Endosuites, Cardiac/Thoracic specific theatres, new state of the art Obstetrics Theatre, Neurosurgery Suite with Intra-Operative CT Scanner, the Da Vinci robotic surgical system, and multiple brand new theatre facilities.
In this role, you provide dedicated and specialised nursing care in a first-class facility across the full scope of the above surgical services.
To succeed in this role, you will bring a strong clinical skillset in a hospital setting with experience as a scrub scout nurse. You will have exceptional communication skills and a passion for delivering excellent client care and customer service.
You will also bring;
- Relevant qualifications and Registration with AHPRA
- Minimum (1) year postgraduate experience in operating theatres
- Ability to assess, evaluate and react to care delivery needs of patient
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively as part of a high-performing team
- Medication qualification, including IV Medications (for Enrolled Nurses)
On offer is a full-time equivalent, base annual salary ranging from;
$70,697 - $90,715 + superannuation based on experience level and qualifications, exclusive of penalties or allowances for a Registered Nurse.
$61,519 - $67,443 + superannuation based on experience level and qualifications, exclusive of penalties or allowances for an Enrolled Nurse.
