About the Role
We are seeking an energetic and innovative CSSD Team leader with a strong team focus to assist in the day to day coordination of the Central Sterilising Stores Department activities. In this role you will be required to lead a small team of CSSD Technicians to ensure departmental tasks are achieved in an effective and efficient manner. This position requires an individual with the ability to be a positive role model and a passionate mentor.
You will work across a Monday-Friday roster including early and late shifts.
About You
To succeed in this role, you will be a positive role model with a passion for delivering exceptional customer service. You will have exceptional communication skills and will be a passionate mentor with the capability to support and assist in the leadership of a team of professionals.
You will also demonstrate;
- Certificate 4 in Sterilising Services
- Minimum 5 years’ CSSD experience essential with leadership experience
- Extensive knowledge of standards & AS4187 requirements
- Experience in competency assessment and staff training
- A Cert IV in Training & Assessment will be highly desirable
