About the Role
An exciting opportunity exists for highly motivated and experienced Critical care and /or Surgical Registered nurse to join us at Shepparton Private in our Banksia Ward and High Dependency Unit, to provide patients a high standard of dedicated and specialised care. This role will be responsible for all facets of patient care within the Unit and Ward.
As a Ramsay Health Care Nurse, you will perform duties with the support and guidance of the Nurse Unit Manager, Associate Nurse Unit Mangers, and Clinical Nurse. You will support the assessing, planning, coordinating and evaluating of the care delivery of each patient’s individual needs.
You will be reporting to the Nurse Unit Manager and working alongside a supportive team.
To succeed in this role you will bring strong clinical skillset in an acute care setting with either experience or qualifications in Critical Care and /or surgical nursing. You will have exceptional customer service and time management skills with a passion for quality patient outcomes.
You will also demonstrate;
- Relevant registration with AHPRA as Registered Nurse.
- Minimum three (3) years’ postgraduate experience within a Critical Care Unit/HDU and/or Critical Care qualifications will be essential for this role.
- Advance Life Support qualifications or working toward
- Proven ability to work effectively in a health-care team, and positively influence the performance of other staff
The flexibility to handle a rotating roster with day, evening and weekend shifts will be key for this role.
On offer is a base hourly rate ranging from Year 3 RN level of $34.976 per hour + superannuation based on experience level. Additional allowances maybe applicable based on evidence of postgraduate qualification.
